Description

ArchLab is a distributed research infrastructure that coordinates a number of laboratories that use scientific methods in archaeology and cultural heritage research. The infrastructure, which is coordinated from Umeå University, is funded by the Swedish Research Council.

Participating infrastructures from LU:

LWD: National laboratory for wood anatomy & dendrochronology
14C: Radiocarbon Dating Laboratory
LLL: Lund Luminescence Laboratory
DARKlab & LUSA: Digital Archaeology Lab & School of Aviation

Services provided

Various scientific analyses of archaeological material. The node at Lund University is responsible for age determination and digital solutions.
