Description

The research group conducts interdisciplinary research with a focus on ageing and health, health promotion and preventative efforts, rehabilitation, housing, technology use, care for older adults, age-friendly societies and user involvement in research. A specific focus is experimental health science, where researchers are responsible for and conduct studies in MoRe-Lab; an innovative research infrastructure at the Faculty of Medicine. The research group is connected to the Center for Ageing and Supportive Environments (CASE), responsible for the coordination of the Swedish National Graduate School on Ageing and Health (SWEAH) and engaged in the university's profile area Proactive Ageing. The research contributes new knowledge of importance for health promotion and prevention efforts as well as interventions and innovations within both regional, municipal and private health care as well as within the welfare sector, business and society at large.
