Description

The Department of Business Administration is one of the largest departments at Lund University, and is also the largest department of the School of Economics and Management. With its six departments the EQUIS accredited School of Economics and Management offers high quality education and conducts cutting-edge research in all areas related to the private and public economy. The Department of Business Administration in Lund is one of the leading environments for education and research within the business administration field. We conduct an active and advanced research in areas such for example organization and leadership. The training is based on industry-related and skill-oriented case methodology within the subjects of organization, marketing, strategic management, accounting, finance and entrepreneurship. For international students we offer a number of MSc Programmes. In addition to this, a broad set of courses are available in English being part of our extensive student exchange programme.

Research

Research at the Department of Business Administration has a strong academic tradition and is empirical oriented with studies in both public and private economy. The researchers at the department have large scale contacts with the public sector, trade and industry and other researchers within their research areas, building both national and international networks. Our research areas covers accounting, corporate finance, entrepreneurship, marketing, organization, research policy and strategic management.
