    Research

    The Department of Chemistry belongs to both the Faculty of Science and the Faculty of Engineering (LTH) at Lund University. All education and research at the department takes place at Kemicentrum, Scandinavias´s largest center for education and research in chemistry.  We have a common goal of our research: research for the benefit of a sustainable society. We are conducting research within all areas of chemistry, which ranges from basic to applied research. Strong focus areas are the environment, energy, renewable resources and health. We have gathered our research in three centers: The Center for Analysis and Synthesis, The Center for Molecular Protein Science and The Center for Physical and Theoretical chemistry.
