    Unit profile

    Research

The research at the division is multidisciplinary in its character and linked together through the Seminar in Mediated Culture and Information. The research is permeated by a critical analysis of the digitization of culture and society, which includes research themes such as cultural heritage institutions, information infrastructure, cultural policy, consumption and digital everyday life, changing literacies, material culture, biohacking, aesthetic and artistic forms of expression. These themes are explored, for example, through ethnography, digital, visual as well as more explorative methods.
