    The research conducted at the division is multifaceted and include several disciplines, all of which get regularly presented at our joint seminar “Mediated Culture and Information. A critical analytical perspective on the digitalization of culture and society permeates our research, which focuses on themes such as cultural heritage institutions, infrastructures of information, cultural policy and politics, publishing and publishing companies, consumption and digital everyday life, reading, listening, literacies, material culture, biohacking, aesthetic and artistic forms of expression. These themes are explored, for example, by way of ethnographic, digital, visual as well as more explorative methods.
