Research
The Division of Musicology and Intermedia Studies is part of the Department of Arts and Cultural Sciences. The research conducted within the subject of Musicology is focused on the history, culture, production and aesthetics of music in the 20th and 21st centuries. The research in the area of Intermedia Studies is multi and interdisciplinary in nature and focuses on cultural phenomena such as how words, images and sounds interact in different art forms. The division has a PhD programme in Musicology.
