Our research contributes to identifying and eliminating risks in the workplace and surrounding environment, as well as promote equitable and sustainable health. Focus is on the following research areas/research questions:

  1. The work environment
    What is the importance of the chemical, physical, social, and organizational work environment?

  2. The surrounding environment
    What is the significance of various exposures such as chemicals, air pollution, noise, and metals?

  3. Planetary health
    What significance do factors such as climate change and pandemics have?

  4. Lifestyle factors
    What is the importance of lifestyle and social factors?

Our interdisciplinary research combines medical, epidemiological, bioinformatic, technical-analytical, and field expertise, utilizing registers and biobanks both in Sweden and globally.
