The research within the Division of Electromagnetism and Nanoelectronics spans a wide range of areas from Electromagnetic Theory and wave propagation to nanoelectronic devices and systems. Thematically, research areas are divided into 6 areas: antennas and waves, metamaterials, nanoelectronics for IoT, neuromorphic computing, quantum technology, THz and Power electronics. Within the electromagnetic research, emphasis is placed on theoretical calculations and modelling of electrical and magnetic phenomena. Nanoelectronics research has a strong base in experimental activities linked to the development and manufacture of components in cleanrooms.
