In the Evolutionary Ecology and Infection Biology division, we investigate how species adapt and evolve, focusing on interactions between organisms and their environment. Key areas include evolutionary genomics, animal movement ecology, adaptation to environmental changes, and host-pathogen interactions. We aim to understand genetic adaptation, movement behaviour, and responses to climate change, as well as microbial virulence and immune system evolution. Our work bridges molecular biology and ecology to provide insights into biodiversity and conservation.
