Research

The Faculty of Science conducts research and education across a broad range of scientific disciplines, distributed among six departments. Our researchers explore, among other topics, animal super senses, the evolution of life, climate change, and the origins of the Milky Way, as well as the fundamental building blocks of nature, advanced materials of the future, and more effective medicines. The Faculty also supports pioneering research through access to state-of-the-art facilities, including the MAX IV Laboratory and the forthcoming ESS neutron source.
