Innovation conducts research on innovations, both of a technical and social nature. The aim is to strengthen the innovation capacity of individuals, groups and organisations through the entire innovation process from idea to commercialisation and application. Some examples are regional and national innovation systems, public policy, business models, technology, methods and tools that are central to the innovation process. Sustainability pervades our research, where environmental as well as economic and social aspects are taken into account.
