Description

• Meliha C Kapetanovic (group leader) research area includes vaccinations in patients with inflammatory rheumatic diseases, remission in patients with RA and gout. PhD students Jon Einarsson, Johanna Nagel and Per Nived are involved in these projects. • Elisabet Lindqvis’s Johan K Wallman, Tor Olofsson and Elisabet Mogard (physiotherapist, PhD-student) are responsible for SPARTAKUS, a crossectional study of spondylarthritis, focusing on comorbidities. Elisabet moreover focuses on long-term follow up of an early RA cohort (TRA) of patients with disease onset 1985-98, while Johan and Tor also study health economics, including the impact of biological treatments on healthcare use and work disability. • Anders Gülfe (MD, PhD) studies the performance of outcome measures in biologic treatment of arthritis including response criteria, disease activity indices and the generic HRQoL instrument EQ-5D. • Sofia Hagel (physiotherapist, PhD) studies physical activity in chronic arthritis.
