Our group conducts research related to mental disorders, development and aggressive, antisocial behaviour. We focus on clinical longitudinal studies on the development and course of externalizing behaviour and concomitant disorders and problems such as psychiatric and somatic disorders, neurodevelopmental disorders, neurocognitive functioning, social and educational problems, from early childhood to adult age. Our research is conducted in close collaboration with the health care services, prison and probation services, residential youth care, schools, social authorities and the police as well as with other research groups in Sweden and in other countries. LU-CRED participates in the training of students, clinicians and practitioners from several related fields.
