Unit profile

Description

With our research, we want to understand and promote persons’ mental health, activity and participation and as a result help them to live as meaningful lives as possible and participate in society despite mental ill health. Developing, evaluating and implementing recovery-oriented interventions that help in different life situations and in different environments is therefore critical. We address different target groups such as young adults with interrupted schooling, persons with alarming and complex mental health needs, those who live in supported housing, visitors at day centers or clubhouses, newly arrived immigrants, persons with depression on sick leave, but also professionals in welfare services and employers. We develop our research in collaboration with service users and professionals who provide care and support, employers, software companies and authorities.
