Research
The section for musculoskeletal radiology conduct research in fields related to the development, evaluation and application of imaging methods intended for diagnosis of musculoskeletal diseases. Our researchers conduct different projects aiming at reduction of radiation dose exposure when applying computed tomography, exploration of the value of advanced magnetic resonance imaging techniques such as 7T ultra high field strength and 3D imaging at 3T high field strength for wrist diagnostics, as well as evaluation of treatment outcome in patients with bleeding disorder by magnetic resonance imaging assessment of joint changes. In addition, our researchers participate in other projects in collaboration with local and external groups.
