Description
Paediatrics is the academic field related to the study of development and disorders of children and adolescents.
Research
Our research covers a spectrum from basic experimental research to clinical research and implementation. Many of the research projects bring together multi-professional teams and have national, European or international collaborations and networks. Since Paediatrics is an ‘age-speciality’ and the two Paediatric Clinics (Paediatric Medicine respectively Paediatric Surgery/Cardiology/Cardiac surgery/Intensive care/Neonatology) can be considered ‘a hospital by its own’ within the Skåne University Hospital, our research covers and involves a broad field of laboratory and clinical Medicine.
