Description

The Swedish South Asian Studies Network (SASNET) facilitates cooperation between Lund University faculties, departments and individual researchers who are engaged in education and research about South Asia (Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan and Sri Lanka). SASNET's main purpose is to encourage and strengthen Lund University research activities that relate to the region. As part of this overarching aim, SASNET regularly organises seminars, workshops and conferences, funds innovative research undertakings and research applications, and collaborates with other research environments that have a strong focus on South Asia.
