Research

The research at the School of Social Work spans a broad area of ??social sciences. The focus is on issues related to social problems, their definitions, origins, causes and solutions; on conditions and living conditions for vulnerable groups and individuals and on society's interventions for the living conditions of individuals and groups. We also have extensive research on analyzes of welfare policy and social policy measures, human treatment organizations and professions.

UN Sustainable Development Goals

In 2015, UN member states agreed to 17 global Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) to end poverty, protect the planet and ensure prosperity for all. Our work contributes towards the following SDG(s):
