Research
The research area is human and organizational factors in relation to risk and safety management. The general research focus is on identifying and managing risk and safety problems both in work environments and in complex safety-critical systems. The interaction man, technology, organization (MTO, Human Factors, Ergonomics) is central, as well as that the research should contribute to measures for increased safety and sustainability.

The research is often multidisciplinary and is carried out in close collaboration with various industrial sectors, healthcare, and authorities. The research can touch on areas such as proactive health and safety management, creating safe working conditions and design of workplaces, but also touch on areas such as safety culture in organizations, learning for safety, and proactive emergency preparedness.
