Personal profile

Research

I am an occupational therapist (OT) and have recently obtained my doctoral degree from the Faculty of Medicine, affiliated with the research group 'Active and Healthy Ageing.' My doctoral research focuses on exploring how older adults perceive their homes and neighborhoods, particularly in urban and rural disadvantaged areas. I am genuinely fascinated by the relationship between participation and place attachment. These areas of study are vital for understanding the impact of the physical and social environment on the well-being of older adults.
