Ahmet Halil Avci, PhD, works as a post-doc in the Department of Chemical Engineering at Lund University. Membrane processes are his main interest. Currently, he is working on reverse electrodialysis which is a process utilizing ion exchange membranes to harvest salinity gradient energy. In the past, he worked on membrane preparation for gas seperation (CO2/CH4) and membrane distillation (desalination).
