Personal profile

Research

My main interest is the application of statistical methods in the evaluation of treatments implemented in clinical practice. I develop models to estimate how large benefits could be expected for patients taking into account biological diversity and other parameters such as: how advanced the disease is, variation in health-care staff, etc. I mainly focus on two areas within cancer and geriatrics: new screening techniques for breast cancer and how ageging affects our health.
