Alessandra Sossini is a Ph.D. candidate at the Department of Strategic Communication since December 2023. Her research interest centers around the interdisciplinary relationship between strategic communication and organizational communication, with a main focus on coworker engagement, coworker voice and coworker ambassadorship. In her thesis project, she focuses on a critical understanding of coworker's communicative co-creation and the tensions between coworkers' self-branding and organizations' brand strategies.
Alessandra holds a Master’s degree (MSc) in Strategic Communication from Lund University and a Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) in Communication with Specialization in Organizational Communication from the University of Applied Science in Zurich.
Prior to and during her Master’s studies, Alessandra worked in various organizations as a Communications Specialist in Switzerland. In these roles, she was responsible for strategic planning and the operational implementation of various communication and marketing initiatives. Additionally, she worked as a Freelance Social Media Coach for a number of Swiss micro-organizations.
