Main research interests are social citizenship, comparative social policies, poverty, labour market policy and activation policies, social assistance, youth unemployment and school to work transition with focus on vocational education and training.

Teacher and dissertation adviser on the BSc in Social Work programme. Course director for Perspectives on Social Work Research and Field of Knowledge, 15 credits, advanced level as well as for Master's Thesis in Social Work.
