Personal profile

Research

My research focuses on applying luminescence dating to archaeological materials, and I particularly enjoy working with questions surrounding ceramic chronology.

Methodological development is also close to my heart, and during my PhD I developed an OSL sampling technique more suitable for work on museum materials

I am also focused on always engaging in a multidisciplinary approach to research. I firmly believe that we can gain the most information out of something by studying it in a variety of ways. Because no one person can be an expert in all things, I love to work in large research teams where each researcher can bring their expertise to tackle a large problem.
