Research

I am a political scientist in the field of European Studies with an interest for democracy, political communication, and political identity. After having studied national and ethnic identities, I am currently interested in transnational identities, such as the European one, and their political manifestations. I am asking in particular what is the influence of social media on polarization in both the EU and the US. My research orientation can be summed up as democracy, digitalization and participation.
