Personal profile

Research

My research focuses mainly on the utilisation of health care in relation to equity and equality. Following my thesis on this subject I have continued the probing, especially in relation to the reform of choice of primary care provider in Sweden. Due to my understanding of big data, this has also led to other registry studies e.g. trends in antibiotic prescription in primary care. In my main occupation, i.e. teaching, I have also done research.

Teaching

Previously I have supervised the assessment in the programme of Community Medicine in the medical school curriculum of Lund University. This programme has been my main educational focus the last ten years, but I also supervise a course in basic research methods (Grundläggande forskningsmetodik). This research school is mainly aimed at participants in primary care, runs in reduced time covering three semesters but is equivalent to one semester of full time studies.
