Research

Background

I defended my thesis in History at Södertörn in 2009. Afte my PhD I have been a researcher and teacher at the department of History, Lund University. I have been at the department of Gender Studies since 2019.

Current research and teaching

At the moment I do research within two projects. One deal with lived experiences and material culture of immoral urban spaces in Malmö, more specifically the handful of streets where the police forced regulated prostitutes to live at the turn of the last century. One deal with political boundary keeping at Swedish universities during the last 100 years.

My teaching mainly focus on methods, gender history, the history of sexuality and archival studies.
