Research

Research areas:

Sustainable development and climate and environmental impacts from human consumption have been dominant perspectives in my research during several years.

- First, within the field of urban sociology, housing, segregation, planning and public services in urban areas several research projects have addressed micro-, meso-, and macro aspects of social sustainability.

- Second, transport and travelling, energy use, food consumption and disposal behaviour in households are examples of research projects related to climate/environmental impacts from consumer behaviour.

- Third, addressing relevant target groups and the construction of policy measures are crucial in promoting consumer behaviour and sustainable development. The objectives of policies and related policy measures are in focus in a number of projects analysing the efficiency of policy measures.
