Research

My main research interest is to assess the impact of climate change on forest ecosystems. A warmer climate will extend the growing season and influence the risk of damage caused by extreme weather events, pests and pathogens. I use ecosystem modelling as a tool to explore the potential outcome and identify knowledge gaps. The model simulations are used in climate change impact assessments, to analyse future scenarios and evaluate the management options for obtaining sustainability.
