Personal profile

Research

My research addresses several different bioarchaeological parametres, such as paleopathology, stature, and paleodemography. I also have a research interest in the Bioarchaeology of Disability and Care.  Chronologically and geographically, my research has primarily been placed in Neolithic and Bronze Age southern Scandinavia, but part of my work have also expanded into other geographical regions (Central Europe and Greece) and later periods. Currently, I'm primarily working with the understanding of frequencies and patterns of violence and warfare in North and Central European Corded Ware Culture.

Teaching

I've been teaching actively since 2012, both in archaeology and historical osteology. I have experience in teaching both first and second cycle courses and have also been course coordinator for a variety of first cycle courses in archaeology and historical osteology. I also have experience from course development and planning of a syllabus for a second cycle course in bone chemistry.
