Research
My research on HIV mainly focuses on outcome of antiretroviral treatment in low-income settings where access to diagnostic tools are limited.
How can continued expansion of antiretroviral treatment be accomplished with sustained quality of care despite decreased external funding and logistical hurdles as care is provided at more peripheral parts of the health care system?
I am also running a project that investigastes aquisition and persistence of rifampicin resistance in commensal S.aureus among persons treated for latent tuberculosis infection in Skåne.
Furhermore, I am involved in projects focusing on Covid-19 and influenza disease among patients treated at intensive care units.
Finally, in collaboration with Centre for Sexual Health, we are studying aspects of syphilis among people living in Skåne.
