Medicine

I am an Associate Professor of Emergency Medicine at Lund University and a Senior Consultant in Emergency Medicine at Skåne University Hospital. I earned my PhD in clinical medicine with a specialization in Emergency Medicine at Lund University amd, from 2018 to 2021, pursued postdoctoral research at The Centre for Primary Health Care Research, Lund University. I currently serve as a Senior Editorial Member for BMC Emergency Medicine and as an Editorial Board Member for the European Journal of Emergency Medicine. Between 2020 to 2022, I also held the role of Academic Editor for the journal Medicine.

My research interests include:

• Prehospital care
• Oxygen therapy in acute myocardial infarction
• Trauma
• Violent crime trauma
• Criminality, psychiatric ill-health, and immigration

Criminology and Police Work

I hold an advanced degree in Criminology from Malmö University and an advanced degree in Police Work from Umeå University. I lecture as a guest at the Police Schools of Malmö University and Linnaeus University. Additionally, I serve as an Editorial Board Member for the Journal of Investigative Psychology and Offender Profiling.

Political Science and Intelligence Analysis

I hold an advanced degree in Political Science from Malmö University and a degree in Intelligence Analysis from Lund University. From 2020 to 2023, I served as a Non-Resident Associate at the Begin-Sadat Center for Strategic Studies and previously as an Editorial Board Member for the journal Global Security and Intelligence Studies.
