Personal profile

Research

I mainly work with electronics design at the technical laboratory, where we come up with solutions to technical problems that could not be solved by acquiring an off-the-shelf product. I can also help out with advice concerning electrical measurement techniques, radio, programming and Printed Circuit Board (PCB) design.

My background is in the Electronics Engineering industry, where I have been working with various telecom- and med. tech. companies, but also the Swedish Armed Forces.

My specialties are RF (radio design), antennas, microprocessors, low-level (C-) programming, and sensor electronics, but I have also been working with the procurement of large technical systems.

I have been involved in various projects involving migrating birds, mostly at Ottenby bird observatory, where I am a member of the board since more than 30 years.

Being a radio amateur (SM7ORH), I know how to communicate using the Morse code,

I do professional sailing, holding various certificates, such as Basic Safety according to STCW A-VI/1-1-4 and GMDSS Restricted Operator’s Certificate (ROC).
