Research interests lie mainly in the conditions and role of local journalism, in the strategic media work of local media organizations, media entrepreneurship and in media consumption and production. In addition, I am interested in political strategic communication with a focus on civic engagement and its democratic function, sustainability in civic participation processes and also, in how political communication is visualized and represented in the media.

My tasks include teaching at all levels, mainly in the subjects of organizational and political communication. I also supervise degree projects in the two bachelor's programs Strategic Communication and Strategic Communication - digital media and in the master's program.
