Research

My main interest lies in understanding and applying the computational and machine-learning approaches for solving complex biological problems and analyzing the huge experimental data.

  • The computational approach involves the designing of algorithm and programming code in R, PERL, Python or C.
  • The machine learning approach integrates the idea of statistics for the task of classification and regression.

Teaching

I had been teaching different topics in Python, PERL, Machine Learning, Web Designing and Chemical Engineering to Bachelors’ and Master’s students at the Department of Biosciences and Technology, Karunya University, India. I have also guided 32 Bachelor’s and 4 Master’s students under my supervision.
