Research

His main research areas are adaptive control, digital and distributed control, and process control. His research on adaptive and self-tuning control has had large influence on the research and applications of adaptive control. He is also interested in how control principles can be transfered to applications in control of and in computer networks.

He is Fellow of IEEE and Elected member of Royal Physiographic Society of Lund.
