Publications comprise books, book chapters and articles in sociological theory, cultural sociology, sociology of knowledge, globalisation, identity, cultural memory, hermeneutics of the contemporary, fiction as source of knowledge, the relation between social science, the essay, and the novel.

Joseph Roth – Eastern Jew, Cosmopolitan, European – Classical Sociological Reflections on a Classical Modern Life”; ”A modern calamity – Robert Musil on stupidity”; ”Relational Social Psychology. On the Development and Actuality of a Style of Thought In A Postdisciplinary Age”; ”Hermeneutics of the Contemporary – Sociological Options, Predicaments, Variations”; ”Choosing One's Life: Models of Conduct of Life In the Early 21. Century. A Cultural Sociological Approach”.

Teaching

Substantial teaching experiences at different universities (Lund University, Copenhagen University, Linnaeus University, Halmstad University College) and from all levels of education – bachelor's, master’s, doctor’s – reaching from 1995, including extensive experiences of supervision of master’s and bachelor’s theses. Extensive experiences in PhD supervision and PhD course coordination. Wide experience of developing, implementing and evaluating courses and programmes. Programme coordinator, Bachelor's programme in sociology.

Visiting scholar at Korea University, University of Sarajevo, Mohyla Academy, Kyiv, Hebrew University, Jerusalem; Peking University, Beijing; Fudan University, Shanghai. Teaching in different social science fields: general sociology, social theory, social psychology, cultural sociology, methodology, epistemology, European studies, media and communication, social work. Concluded qualifying higher education teacher training courses (general introduction course, doctoral supervision course).
