Presently I am engaged in a research project, funded by the Swedish Research Council, on the university philosophy in the context of Swedish society since 1945. The idea is to study how a discipline develop and change in a societal context. One approach is to follow the tension between analytical philosophy and continental philosophy, how came into being and how it has changes over the course of years. Another approach is to study how what happens in the field of philosophy can be related to, what might be called, different narratives about modern Sweden. To the research group also belongs PhD Henrik Lundberg (Göteborg) and PhD Klas Gustavsson (Lund). The project has funding for 2014–2016.

At the undergraduate level I mainly teaching courses in sociological theory. At the graduate level I am engaged in courses on classical, modern and contemporary theory.
