Research
I am a registered nurse, specialized in Emergency Medicine and Anesthesiology and work at the Skane University hospital, Lund as a nurse anesthesiology. Further, I am a part time PhD-student in the research group Center for Cardiac Arrest, Lund University.
My thesis has a prehospital alignment i.e. out-of-hospital cardiac arrest and includes four project with focus on early interventions.
Two of my project includes the Emergency medical dispatcher accuracy to recognize a cardiac arrest in emergency calls (sensitivity and specificity studies). Another project includes the dispatch system for dispatching ambulances and first responders. The fourth project has a focus the locations significance on survival and neurological recovery after out-of-hospital cardiac arrest.
