My current research interest is centered i investigating the video store and its cultural-historical significance i people's lives as well as how its specific constitution affected the experience of film. In my dissertation on this topic, I am drawing upon those theories and methods within film history known as 'New Cinema History'. (Supervisor: Elisabeth Björklund)

Additionally, I have an interest in nostalgia related to film and television and the ambivalent expressions of nostalgia that appear in attempts at recreating older established works. These considerations were formed during my Master's Thesis: "Subverting Nostalgia in Twin Peaks: The Return - Resistance and the Television Revival".
