Personal profile

My research is dedicated to the fields of organisation and leadership. I am using qualitative case study methods to explore topics such as professional autonomy, transparency in healthcare, and charismatic leadership. I am currently doing work on how healthcare professionals make clinical decisions drawing on science and experience.

I take any opportunity to do scholarly outreach, whether it is a radio interview, a ‘science slam’ event or a public debate. In addition, I am active as an opinion writer and commentator, regularly contributing to magazines such as Axess and Signum.
