Personal profile

Research

I have a PhD in Classical Archaeology and Ancient History, specializing in Italian protohistory (1997). Since then I have mostly been engaged as a teacher in Environmental Studies at LTH.

Teaching

My first experiences in teaching were in undergraduate courses in Classical archaeology. Since the mid-80s, I have been engaged in a transdisciplinary team teaching environmental studies and work environment. This unit, the "Environmental Studies Programme" at Lund university is now "Environmental and Energy Systems Studies" at LTH. We teach multidisciplinary courses in environment and sustainable development for several engineering programmes, and specialized courses on specific environmental and energy issues. I am currently teaching a few courses in English, as well as courses in Environmental impact assessment and Environmental management systems.

I also have experience in leading pedagogical work, in my capacity as director of undergraduate studies at Environmental and energy systems studies, and as former programme director for the programme Environmental Engineering.
