I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture (BSc.) and a Master’s degree in Urban Design (MSc.) from China. After gaining professional experience as an urban designer in Beijing, I further expanded my expertise by pursuing a Ph.D. at the University of Copenhagen (UCPH), Denmark, where my research focused on sustainable mobility with an emphasis on promoting bicycle transport in cities

At Lund University and K2 - Swedish National Center for research and Education on collective mobility, my primary research continues focusing on understanding users'  behavior and, attitudes, preferences towards future mobility, specifically, looking into how the users' needs should be taken into consideration in the process of developing the conventional and innovative mobility services as alternatives to cars, including walking, cycling, and multimodality, sharing mobility services, as well as digital services and resilient transpprt system. By understanding users' preferences and association with both subject and objective factors, the result is expected to support the development of policy, strategies for reducing car dependency  and achieving sustainable mobility.

In recent years, I have been actively involved in research projects funded by Swedish funding agencies and the EU. These projects focus on micro-mobility services (sharing bikes, sharing scooters), public transport, cycling, demand-responsive transport, digitalization in public transport, intermodality, and other mobility services. The target groups include young people, the elderly, and other user groups such as public transport users, drivers, cyclists, and pedestrians, among all the user groups.
