My research challenges the binary between revelation as objective truth and subjective experience by drawing on Friedrich Schelling’s participatory ontology. Through the lens of sapientia experimentalis, I show how Schelling envisions revelation as an open, dynamic process grounded in the structure of being itself. This reframing highlights affectivity not as peripheral, but as fundamental to theological understanding and reality.

My research builds on an interdisciplinary background in both theology and art history. In my master’s thesis I analyzed the central role of the imagination in early German Romantic thought, with particular attention to the relationship between aesthetic and religious experience.
