Research

I am associate professor at the Sten K. Johnson Centre for Entrepreneurship, Department of Business Administration. I am also affiliated to the research centre CIRCLE, University of Lund. Before joining Lund University I have worked in Italy at the University of Turin and at LUISS Guido Carli in Rome.

My research interests include the interplay of innovation and internationalization strategies of companies, the importance of international talents for the innovative performances of firms and the interaction between academic researchers and industrial inventors.


I am the coordinator of the project "Sweden's position in Global Value Chains", funded by Vinnova and managed by CIRCLE, which studies the channels through which large multinational groups influence the creation of new knowledge in the Swedish economy.

My work has been published in journals such as Research Policy, the Oxford Bulletin of Economics and Statistics, Industrial and Corporate Change, R&D Management, Industry and Innovation, The Journal of Technology Transfer.
