Personal profile

Research

My name is Colin and I am a Postdoctoral Researcher in the Genetics of Sex Differences Research group at Lund University, Sweden. I am a theoretical population geneticist with a special interest in the evolutionary consequences of sex-specific selection for species without separate sexes. Most of my work is inspired by the outrageous diversity of flowering plant reproductive traits, mating systems, sexual systems, and ploidy variation.

My research covers a variety of questions, all related to sex-specific selection, the evolution of recombination suppression between sex chromosomes, genome structural evolution, and evolutionary demography of partially selfing populations.
