Personal profile

I am a theoretical and computational macroeconomist focusing on growth theory, labor dynamics, inequality, technological change and the social cost of carbon. As such my research encompasses broadly both social and environmental aspects of sustainability. In particular, I investigate how sudden changes in economic and natural variables impact inequality, welfare and productivity. My most recent studies treat human capital accumulation under threat of skill obsolescence with applications to optimal taxation, technology adoption and skill premium convexity. Other works in progress investigate generational wealth inequalities, the glass ceiling effect in income, the distributional consequences of artificial intelligence, and the welfare impact of bubbles in green assets. I am affiliated with the Department of Economics and the Knut Wicksell Center for Financial Studies and the Center for Economic Demography at Lund University.

My teaching duties have included assistance in macroeconomics and international economics, lecturer in mathematical methods for economics, course designer and lecturer in introduction to MATLAB, course director, designer and lecturer in matematical methods - dynamic optimization.
