Personal profile

Research

The development of new antidepressants has been hindered by the challenge of identifying distinct symptom profiles associated with specific pathophysiologies, which may respond differently to various treatments. By integrating clinical characteristics with peripheral and central biomarkers, we aim to define specific subgroups of depression and assess the antidepressant efficacy of interventions targeting these unique biological pathways. The primary goal of this research program is to advance precision psychiatry by customizing antidepressant treatments to meet the individual needs of patients.
